The PTOG4 has front panel access to inputs, channel select and mute toggles.
This is a 4 channel input, 4 channel output console switch.
There are four independent mute toggles per channel with protective collars.
Four rotary select toggles for each channel with cream chicken head knobs.
All inputs have easy release locking tabs.
OPERATION: (Same basic procedure as the 2 channel.)
Be sure all 4 mute toggles turned on, in the up position.
Connect the snake cable, male XLR outputs into the audio system.
Connect the first bands console outputs to the corresponding PTOG4 inputs.
L1, R1, S1, and F1, channel 1.
Second bands outputs into inputs L2, R2, S2, and F2.
Repeat up to the fourth bands console.
Select L1, R1, S1, and F1 using the rotary toggle secect switch.
When the audio system and consoles have power, turn the mute toggles off. The mute toggles will be in the down position.
The opening bands console is now connected to the audio system.
When switching from console to console it is best to fade out program music on console 1. Then mute all outputs Left, Right, Sub, and Fill, then switch the second console.
Once switched turn all mute toggles off and fade in console 2 program music.
Always be sure to have the mute toggles on when switching from console 1 to any of the other console positions.
Also like the PTOG2 if you have more than four bands, simply remove the finished bands console and connect the new bands into the PTOG inputs.
NO NEED TO MUTE AS THE CHANNELS THAT ARE NOT SELECTED ARE DISCONNECTED!
